October 1st, Landmark Books celebrated our fifth year as a stand-alone store. When we opened we had a lot of grand ideas and lofty hopes like any business. Five years later we still have grand ideas, but we try to temper them and keep our feet on the ground.
This past year has seen readings, publications of books by Squirrel Cane Press and our fifth annual Type-In. We also published our third haiku contest winner and announced our fourth winner which will be published later this fall.
We would like to thank the community for their support and business and look forward to bringing you high quality books for years to come. I would also like to thank my staff and family for all they do to help me make Landmark Books Traverse City’s premiere used bookshop.
